Confuciusornis, a Cretaceous bird from China Palaeontologists have discovered some Extraordinary locations (lagerstätten) where by fossils of early birds are identified. The preservation is so great that on the ideal examples impressions of their feathers can be observed, and in some cases even the remains of foods they may have eaten.The 3-sectio
